This post is for Eric. He would like to show how nuts are neighbors are. This is after the snow plow has been through 4 or 5 times, all the driveways were done by the kid across the street, and there was nothing left to do.

But on a brighter note we do have the best looking street in Hamilton county,cleaned from curb to curb, and he is still going all with a cigarette in tow.

Keep in mind the longest driveway in the neighborhood is probably about 40 ft.

This past weekend turned out to be a little more eventful then I had planned. Friday night I fell asleep around 10, it was wonderful and I loved every minute of it!! That is my idea of a good Friday night! Saturday we got up early and went to the company picnic at the indy zoo. Needless to say I was reminded why Eric and I don't have kids and won't have any in the near or distant future. Don't get me wrong, kids can be cute, just not attached to me. So, we did the zoo thing and I think Eric and I made fun of everything while we were there. We also tried to take pictures but the camera batteries were dead after 1 shot. So no animal pictures for us!!!!

After 5 fun filled hours at the zoo we came home and took a lovely nap (have a mentioned how much I love naps and weekends?). Then some people down the street invited us to go boating and we had a blast. Granted this was saturday and I still have bruises all down my back, legs, stomach, and arms but over all I had fun!!!
~once again no pictures, we had a dead camera.

Yesterday involved my weekly target trip and kohl's trip. Then it was back home. We had a lovely clean the house afternoon and then relaxed with a movie. It is amazing that we have time to watch movies. It was the best movie we had seen in a long time, too bad it had no point and was pretty stupid.

That is all I have for now, lunch is over in 5 minutes.

I thought I would update since I haven't in a while. A couple weeks ago we got a letter from our neighbors threatening to sue us because we are evil people and we are getting back at them for calling the cops on speedy by feeding the geese. If only that were true. That was interesting. Instead of being adults and coming over and talking to us they sent us a letter from their lawyer, I laughed and will continue to laugh.

I have been working for over a month, I like it most days. Though today I had to call in sick and I feel bad about it. I'm starting to feel better now but it is almost 3 and it wouldn't be worth my time to go in. I know more about rubber roofs then I have ever wanted to know in my life. So, if you have a rubber roof and would like me to tell you if something is wrong with it send me pictures and I will be glad to help. However, after sitting at a computer all day and looking at pictures I have no interest in surfing the internet for hours when I get home like I use to, it is sad.

What else? We (when I say we I kind of mean just Eric) re did our kitchen floors. We went from cheap vinyl to this

I really do like the floor, it looks cleaner (notice I said looks because it isn't any cleaner). Eric also did the downstairs pantry and bathroom.

I finally had the piano moved from my parents house yesterday!!! I think my mom was beyond excited but a little sad too.
When I was telling the movers how old it was I was amazed to tell them it was 20 years old!! I kind of forgot how long I have been playing!! I played a little yesterday and it was rusty, it is obvious that I haven't played seriously in about 7 years. The piano did make our house come together a little better!! We are finally starting to get things organized (after a year)!!!

Eric's dad is still staying with us on Tuesday and Wednesday. Actually he is more just sleeping here because I hardly ever see him.
It is also very beautiful out!! I couldn't believe it because yesterday was just so miserable!! Now only if I had patio furniture!!
Well I think that is all the updating I have for now. Hope everyone is having a great summer!!

How big does one´s self indulgence love for themselves, otherwise known as one´s ego, have to get for them to think that they are the only one out of a large group that matters? I am always astonished by the intensity they feel about themselves that if it were me I would blush in embarrassment by my clear obsession with myself. I understand having self esteem and I applaud all who do but let me assure you self esteem and assholeness are two entirely different concepts. Someone should enlighten my neighbors.

I would just like to let everyone that our neighbor has finally talked to us! Not only did she talk to us she invited us to a BBQ! WTF!!!
She came by twice today, once to invite us and the other to be noisy. On that note, our other neighbors (the ones we like) she had a scare tonight and I hope she is doing better and that it doesn't happen again, it was scary!

Oh yeah eric wants me to mention that he is super pissed that our neighbor(the ones that hate us) are talking to us. He hated talking to them and now he had to talk to her 2 times today and i don't think he will ever get over it!

Another note, we are going home this weekend. It has gotten to the point where it is like a horrible obligation. My parents are having a party tomorrow and Stacy has her graduation party on Sunday. I'm so flipping excited I don't know what to do.

Speedy + Swimming =a bad idea

So speedy decided to chase the geese today. Instead of standing on the bank like he normally does he tried to go in after them. After he went in to him tummy he realized it was a bad idea. If you know speedy you know that he walks funny, just imagine him trying to swim. It isn't a pretty scenario.

The war of the century

So the war of the century rages on. Yes, that would be the war between our neighbors and us. The last few hours topped everything off and even placed a cherry on top! So to start my story, around 9pm speedy along withe my favorite people in the world at the moment and their kids (the people across the street) were playing around in the yard. Then, the kids along with the adults decided it would be fun to have speedy run with them and have races with him. Well about 45 minutes later (speedy at this point had been placed in the house for about 30 minutes) the cops show up to our house, but of course we aren't there but he spots us down the street and pulls up there. This wasn't any cop but the rent a cop neighbor that happens to be best friends with our neighbors. So anyway, he pulls up his cop car and sits in his car for about 15 minutes on the phone conversing with our neighbors. Meanwhile, all of the other neighbors are sitting there thinking what the fuck. But he eventually gets up and comes up to us and says that we have been called on because our dog has been unruly. I about lost it.. And him being a rent a cop couldn't give us anything so he had to call the real cop on duty who pretty much thought the guy was an idiot. But anyway, our neighbor called the cops on speedy because he was out of our yard.

I would understand if my dog was out without us or even running around the neighborhood but he wasn't. He was playing with the kids across the street and we were jogging on the sidewalk together!!!!!!!! I was beyond pissed at this point and Eric finally had enough and went over to talk to the wicked witch of the neighborhood and she said her only problem with us is our dog!! Which by the way is such bullshit! When we moved in here she would take speedy into her house and give him treats and call him over. Now the site of him pisses her off. Bull shit! I feel like we are in junior high once again. IF you HAVE A PROBLEM COME AND TELL ME ABOUT IT SO I CAN FIX IT!!!!

There is a lot more to this story that spans over the past year but i feel as though i have wasted too much of my time as it is.

Indy 500 qualifying and stuff

So today we went the indy 500 qualifying because we got to sit in the firestone box seats. It was a cool experience being treated like we were super rich. The event was catered and we got to go down to the pits. Food, air conditioning, and private bathrooms make watching cars drive by somewhat interesting.

A Visit from Miss Mea

This past weekend we had the lovely honor of having my little niece over . I picked her up on friday and dropped her back off on sunday.
But before I post any pictures I would just like everyone to know that I am beyond anal and one of my biggest pet peeves is when someone is late. I absolutely hate when people are even a minute late, i believe everyone should arrive at their destination about 15 minutes prior to their engagement. But when someone is more like an hour and a half late I began to lose my mind. I guess this is just part of my nature. Perhaps this is why these people get fired from jobs and things, because they can't seem to tell time.

Tomorrow will be a week since Eric had his lovely work accident so that means he will be getting his lovely stitches removed.
I will always remember the wonderful phone call that i got from him while he sat in the emergency room. "Honey, I have to get stitches."
Today was a lovely day! In fact our neighbors had a nice little cookout and invited everyone in the neighborhood except for us.
It is all good though because we got to watch as we washed the car, planted a tree, filled the bird feeders, etc...
I enjoy that everyone was across the street having a cookout and staring at us the entire day. That is my idea of a fun filled Sunday!
And it wasn't a few hours thing it was a from 11am until about 20 minutes ago thing.
Ah the joys of living in a subdivision with......

Eric just came into the room and asked for a calculator and i just found him one and continued writing. But i was curious after i was finished with my sentence on the reasoning behind his urgent need for a computing device. Turns out he has to calculate how much dirt he needs for the wet spot in our yard. If any of you know eric then you will find the humor behind this because he has ocd about the yard and i think that is all he thinks about. Now he is embarrassed and just threw the calculator down, such a baby....but that is why I love him.

Lately, I have found great joy in keeping everything spotless again.
I have regained my obsessive tendencies that had vanished for about two months or so.
I had become lazy when it came to being organized and keeping the house spotless. But it is back
and better then ever. I love the fact that the house is clean and enjoy having the bed made and everything
having its place. I enjoy the fact that when clothes are dirty they must be put into the appropriate laundry basket (color wise).

In other news we have a mouse in the house. Well actually he has been living with us for awhile now and he is annoying.
We figured out about a month ago that he was eating the bird seed in the garage. So Eric moved the bird seed onto his dirtbike thinking the mouse was too stupid to get up there. Well the mouse showed him and as a surprise for Eric the mouse decided that his dirtbike seat stuffing would make a nice bed. So now half of eric's dirtbike seat is no longer there. I'm sure the mouse has a nice bed in our house now thanks to Eric and his dirtbike. But we put 2 mouse traps out today but our cat found one and now he hates us and we are left with 1. Lucky ass mouse.

Oh there is a muskrat living in our pond, pretty damn exciting stuff.
And there was a snapping turtle in the street today and Eric picked it up and put it in the yard and the thing went into the pond.
Turns out one can't predict what kind of strange animals we will find lurking in the pond.

Well that is all I have, it is getting close to bedtime!

I am beyond excited that it is Friday!! I really don't think I have been this excited in a long time.
I am just happy to be able to sit back and relax, well kind of relax.
Today I am just sitting around waiting for the warranty people to come out and fix our front door, the light outside, and the broken shower knob. Well the plumber has already been here and let me know that he would be bringing us a new toilet next week. It is nice to know that our toilet that is less then a year old was so crappy that is leaks and has a crack on it. The plumber seemed puzzled but all is well.
Tomorrow we are going to the Supercross race in indy that we attend every year. I'm not really excited this year considering the fact that we haven't been keeping up with the races at all! Plus, mike laracco is retired and wont be riding at all.

What else? Eric is in Louisville today. He told me at about 7 o clock yesterday that he and his coworkers would be going a semi truck show to look at air springs, pretty exciting stuff.

Next week I think eric and I will be heading to Louisville to attend Miss Mea Meyers 4th Birthday party!! It seems like yesterday we were on our way to see her in the hospital. Normally, I would probably stay away from her birthday party because I really don't like driving down there to eat cake but this year is different. I want Mea to know that Eric and I will always be there for her, no matter what happens. What she has had to face this year no 3 year old should have to deal with. I just hope she isn't tormented for life after the past few months.

So since i have had my car on wednesday I have compiled a list of cons for my lovely little two seater

Cons

driving with the top down and not having one's hair pulled back causes for a so many knots in the hair that it takes forever to brush out
there is no real place to hang the garage door opener
no storage anywhere in the car (with the top down today we were able to fit a bottle of bathtub cleaner and a dust brush for the car)
the cup holders are in an odd location and one would think that engineers would be smarter
every crappy car in the world revs their engine at me and try to race me at the stop light
cops slow down and wait for me to pass when they see me drive by
people have screamed things at me driving by
it takes very expensive gas
I get honked at and flipped off if i drive to slow

Pros

People slow down for me to pass them because they seem to think i am going to drive fast
the car is super fun
the radio turns up on it's own (Very nice with the top down)
I love the color
there is plenty of seating room for me and my purse and bags
cat food actually fits in the trunk when the top is up
I love the fact that it is fun with the top down and even up
there is a lot of room in the garage now

I might have a lot of negatives but most of it has to do with the fact that I am not use to having a really small car and I don't know if I am comfortable with people trying to race me. I'm a slow driver and I will always be me. I probably drive slower then a blue haired old ladies.

On another note my tongue is super swollen and I am talking funny and it hurts and I want to cry. Oh and thank god for girl scout cookies, I love you girl scouts!

I went and Picked up my new duvet cover. It was pricey but so worth it!
We also got a lovely down comforter and it was 50% off!
I made cheesecake and eric liked it or pretended too anyway
It snowed on saturday and we ventured out and i didn't have a shit attack about it
I killed a bird
and i liked it, after I cried for a while
and i almost did it again
I saw pink in concert and she was awesome even though i thought she might start having sex with a dancer on stage
The lovely trip to see Justin timberlake in columbus and turns out he is awesome!! And I got a t-shirt that I will wear for the rest of my life and I will always remember justin saying he loved me (though it was geared towards everyone)
I got felt up by a drunk lady after the concert when i was trying to buy a shirt and it just made me laugh! I think she was pretending i was Jt.

I think i have more but I only said 10. I guess I could combine 5,6, and 7 but they seriously need to have their own separate places. I just had a very nice weekend and I loved it!! I missed eric not being at the concert and being miserable but I had fun anyway! And thank goodness Kelly drove the 3 hours back because I am pretty sure I was asleep within 10 minutes of us getting out of columbus! Oh and knowing that Ohio State is an ugly ass campus makes me happy! If you know me you know how I feel about those damn buckeyes! Hope everyone has a good week!!!

So this is the third day we have had our couches upstairs and speedy just couldn't handle it. He cried and cried to be near us and then he found out that reclining sofas are the way to go. Now instead of using the reclining part for our feet it has become a resting spot for speedy.

He doesn't believe we buy anything that is not for him. His life is truly miserable.
